新學年教城學生戶口更新 Student Account Update for the New School Year

2014-2015學年教城學生戶口更新

為使　貴校學生能夠在新學年期間使用香港教育城（教城）的各項網上平台和服務，現誠邀　貴校資訊科技統籌主任於即日起處理「全校學生戶口」更新事宜。

更新「全校學生戶口」的步驟非常簡單：

• 利用Excel建立全校學生檔案，包括學生編號、英文姓名、中文姓名、年級、班別、學號等資料，並儲存為 xls 或 .xlsx檔案格式
• 登入教城的「學校戶口管理系統」(www.hkedcity.net/schoolservices)
• 根據網頁指示上載
• 教城的學校戶口管理系統將會自動處理新增、更新及刪除學生戶口程序，讓學生可於新學年持有最新的教城帳戶

有關詳情請登入「學校戶口管理系統」，參閱「學生戶口」網頁，或按此下載「學校戶口管理系統」入門指南。戶口更新完成後，煩請資訊科技統籌主任通知學生自行登入教城網站，在「我的設定」中更新個人資料，包括新增以個人常用帳號（如Gmail、Yahoo、Window Live或Facebook）作為登入之用，及訂閱《教城電子報》和活動宣傳電郵，以接收各項最新消息及推廣。

Dear Principals and IT Coordinators,

Student Account Update for School Year 2014 – 2015

To enable the students of your school to access all the online platforms and enjoy the services of Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity), we sincerely invite the IT Coordinator of your school to update all the students’ accounts under HKEdCity from now.

It only takes a few steps to update the students’ accounts:

• Use Excel to develop a student file with student number, Chinese and English name, class and other information and save as .xls or .xlsx format
• Log in the “School Account Administration” (www.hkedcity.net/schoolservices)
• Follow the instructions on the webpage to upload the file
• The School Account Administration system will then automatically renew, add and delete students’ accounts, so that your students can possess an updated HKEdCity account in the coming academic year.

For details, you may refer to the “Student Account” of “School Account Administration" online, or click here to download the user manual (Chinese version only). Once the update process is done, please kindly advise your students to log in with their HKEdCity accounts and go to “My Setting” to update their personal information and add common personal email address (eg. Gmail, Yahoo, Window Live or Facebook) for signing in. They are also encouraged to subscribe EdPost and activity updates email in order to receive the latest news and promotion.
