13 Apr 1943, Chronology of Events Related to Stanley Civilian Internment Camp Posted: 06 Jun 2012 12:55 AM PDT Book / Document: Date(s) of events described: Tue, 13 Apr 1943 Grayburn and Streatfield are moved again. This time they're taken by car to Stanley Prison where they're held in much improved conditions. Each has a cell to himself and exercise periods and baths are provided. Their arrival is recorded in the diary of George Wright-Nooth: Grayburn brought to Stanley chained to Streatfield.... It seems from Streatfield's account that they were both roped up, but not to each other. Sources: E. P.
