全新「教城書櫃」正式啟用 電子學習旅程由此展開
電子書在港愈趨普及，乃電子學習不可或缺的一環。與紙本書相比，電子書的互動功能和工具每每更具優勢，但不同機構各自研發電子書櫃，用戶得逐一學習如何發放、存取、閱覽、使用。一個統一、整合的電子書平台，配合互動工具，無疑更能方便教師和學生，享受到電子書發揮的學與教成效。

有見及此，香港教育城（教城）www.hkedcity.net 於2014/15學年推展全新的「教城書櫃」服務。有別於一般電子書櫃，「教城書櫃」內置多項互動功能：

1. 廣東話、普通話及英語的三語發音（Text-to-Speech），配合語文學習；
2. 標示書籤、註明筆記等工具，讓用戶自由書寫、繪畫、螢光筆畫重點；
3. 支援電子書內的錄音、影片、網上連結等，令學習更多元化，提升學習動機；
4. 支援互動學習活動，如拖放練習、配對、選擇題等，並有自動對答案功能。

此外，「教城書櫃」更提供跨平台登入的雲端服務，同時支援桌上電腦和平板電腦，用戶所有書籍、個人化設定和書寫筆記均同步儲存。「教城書櫃」是為本地學界度身訂造的網上書櫃，不論對教師、學生以至其他用戶來說，都是一個便捷的免費學習工具。

「教城書櫃」匯合「教城購物廣場 (EdMall)」，會員只需使用現有的教城戶口，便可享有由訂購、派遞、下載到瀏覽的一站式服務，簡化每年學校和家長選購電子課本的程序。「教城購物廣場」現已有逾百本電子書供用戶免費下載，教城會繼續與各出版社、機構及學校合作，冀為教師、學生及大眾提供多元化的優質學與教資源，藉以提升學與教效能。

Start Your Innovative eLearning Journey with ‘EdBookShelf’
eBook is becoming more popular in Hong Kong, and plays a crucial part in eLearning. Compared with traditional paper books, eBooks often come with more powerful interactive functions and tools. With different developers building their own eBookshelves, eBook readers have to learn how to disseminate, save, retrieve, read and use eBooks in different systems.
