英文科講座 國際拼音專家主講

坊間從幼兒以至中學程度的拼音課程多年來大行其道，拼音可說是英文老師或多或少會教授的課題。拼音教學發展多年，我們有何得著、未來有何路向？另一方面，相比情節豐富的小說故事，非小說類文體無疑較少於英文課出現，我們可怎樣利用此類文體培養學生的語文能力？

以上問題將有專家為大家解答。香港教育城（教城）和Scholastic將於11月27日（星期四）合辦英語教學講座，邀得拼音專家Wiley Blevins博士擔任講者。Wiley Blevins博士曾任教於美國及南美洲之中小學，並於世界各地分享拼音教學，著有多種拼音教學書籍。講座當天，他會為我們講解廿一世紀的拼音教學，及如何利用非小說類文體提升學生的語文能力。現誠邀　閣下出席講座，詳情如下：

ELT Seminar by Phonics Specialist Dr Wiley Blevins

Phonics courses are ever popular from pre-school to secondary school level, and phonics is a topic that English teachers more or less touch upon. The teaching of phonics has developed for years, so what we have learnt and where we will go? Meanwhile, compared with stories and fiction with a plot, nonfiction is less seen in English lessons. How can we use nonfiction to improve students’ literacy?

There are answers to the above questions. Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity) is going to hold ELT Seminar: 'Phonics of 21st Century' and 'How nonfiction can Help with Literacy' jointly with Scholastic with phonics specialist Dr Wiley Blevins as the speaker. Dr Blevins is the author of several books on phonics instruction, and has taught elementary school both in the United States and South America, and spoken to audiences all over the world about phonics instruction. He will share his expertise on phonics and nonfiction for literacy. You are cordially invited to join the event. Details:
