「翻轉課堂」的經驗 和資源分享

「翻轉課堂Flipped Classroom」在美國、新加坡、台灣等地區 盛行，但在香港仍處起步階段。究竟 老 師可 如何 「翻轉課堂」 、促進 學生自主預習？有什麼 學習平台和配套 幫助教學和評估？ 為讓老師進一步 了解「翻轉課堂」的教學概念，香港教育城（教城）推出以下活動/資源：

1. 「翻轉課堂」主題講座

由 三位在職教師分享於中文及數學科實行「翻轉課堂」的經驗，讓老師掌握具體的課堂設計及運用網上學習平台整理學生預習的數據 。講座詳情如下：

主題	1. 不一様的翻轉課堂－如何透過學習平台促進自主預習 講者：香港真光中學資訊科技科科主任　夏志雄老師 2. 翻轉 M2 及高中數學課堂 講者：香港管理專業協會羅桂祥中學　林振龍老師 3. 翻轉中文科的課堂設計和實踐 講者：拔萃女書院　陳顯俊老師

2. EdV平台新增設答題評估功能

EdV（Educational Video）是為全港中小學免費提供的校本短片分享平台服務，2014/15學年新增設答題評估功能：

• 教師可配合影片內容自設選擇題供學生作答
• 自動核對學生答案及即時評分
• 記錄學生的答案、作答時間、觀看影片時間
• 以圖表方式呈現學生成績和題目分析數據

3. 「EdV獎勵計劃2014-2015」新增設「翻轉課堂應用獎」

為鼓勵學界製作及分享學習短片，教城每年舉辦「EdV獎勵計劃」， 共收到逾1,000份短片作品，並於教城EdV展示 優秀 得獎短片， 與大眾分享學界的寶貴 經驗 。今年計劃新增設「翻轉課堂應用獎」， 參加者的作品輔以3至10條配合短片的多項選擇題作為影片的學習評估，即可競逐此獎項 。計劃得獎者 有機會獲得 高達港幣$1,000書券、平板電腦、攝錄機、互動電子白板等豐富禮品。

計劃 啟動禮將於上述 「翻轉課堂」主題講座同場舉行，其後 更會舉辦講座 工作坊等活動，詳情請瀏覽www.hkedcity.net/edv-award。

4. 教師電視

侯傑泰教授等一眾教育界專家主講的「科技帶來的機遇—翻轉課堂3s」影片及精華筆記，現已上載教師電視。講座不單介紹「翻轉課堂」1.0及2.0版本，更 前瞻3s版本如何協助推行香港教育局第四個資訊科技教育策略，相關影片如下：

Dear Principals and Teachers,

Practical Sharing and Resources for Flipped Classroom

While the concept of Flipped Classroom is very popular in areas like the USA, Singapore and Taiwan, it is still new to Hong Kong. If you are wondering how a Flipped Classroom can motivate students to self-learn effectively, or if there are any learning platforms or tools for teaching and assessment, the following activities / resources by Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity) will hopefully help you.

1. Flipped Classroom Seminar (Cantonese)

In-service teachers will share their hands-on experience of flipping classroom in different subjects, provide practical strategies for lesson planning and recommend some online platforms for assessing students’ performances. Details:

2. New Assessment Function for EdV

EdV (‘Educational Video’) is a free, school-based service for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong to share their videos. Now, EdV is equipped with assessment function for you to flip your classroom. With the new function, you can:

• set MC questions about a video as an assessment;
• facilitate students’ self-learning using the auto-marking and instant feedback function;
• record students’ answers, time of submission and video viewing time;
• see student performance and item analysis data in graphical presentation.

3. ‘Flipped Classroom Application Award’ for ‘EdV Award Scheme 2014-2015’

EdV Award Scheme encourages production and sharing of educational videos , and has received over 1,000 videos for the past few years. This year, a new award is set up to encourage teachers flipping the classroom. Set 3-10 MC questions about your video as a student assessment, and you can c ompete for the new award. Prizes include HK$1,000 book voucher, tablets, digital camera, interactive touch panel, etc.

The kick-off ceremony of the Scheme will be held in the same occasion of ‘Flipped Classroom Seminar’ as stated above. There will be seminars / workshops within the scheme period too. For latest updates, please visit www.hkedcity.net/edv-award.

4. Teacher TV

Videos and notes (Cantonese version only) of ‘Advancement in Educational Technology: Flip and Beyond’ by Professor Hau Kit-tai and other speakers are now on Teacher TV.
