全新「創作天地」正式登場 New ‘eWorks’ launched with Summer Award Scheme

親愛的校長及教師：

全新「創作天地」正式登場

「創作天地」網上平台是香港教育城（教城）最受學生和老師歡迎的服務之一，給喜愛寫作的學生提供一個互相分享的創作平台。為更全面支援學生踏進小作家之路，全新「創作天地」現已登場，而「創作獎勵計劃」第三期暑期計劃亦已啟動，讓學生全天候創作。

全新「創作天地」增設教師管理頁，通過統計報告功能，讓老師輕易掌握學生投稿情況，管理全校學生作品；教師亦可對學生的作品給予評語，加強師生互動元素。

此外，學生投稿介面亦新增作家個人簡介及自定連載作品功能，從而培養學生的創作興趣和習慣；還包含多項社交分享功能，如評分、發表評論、分享文章至社交平台等等，以鼓勵學生互相學習，勉勵欣賞。

今屆「創作獎勵計劃」更會有嶄新安排，除了第一期及第二期之外，會於6月至8月期間推出第三期暑期計劃，全年度為學生提供寫作或圖畫的創作空間。誠邀  貴校鼓勵學生於暑假期間善用餘暇，發揮創作天份，持續投稿。計劃詳情如下：

日期	即日至8月31日（星期一）
內容	計劃以個人形式進行，無須報名 學生必須以教城學生戶口登入遞交作品，投稿次數不限。 投稿體裁、主題、內容、字數不限，但須以中文投稿
投稿類別	小學組：主題寫作、圖文創作、閱讀隨筆及散文／隨筆 今期主題寫作題目：「當我來到這星球」，同學可發揮幻想，創作一個獨特的星球遊歷故事
獎項	每個投稿類別均設有冠、亞、季軍，獲獎學生將獲頒書券及證書 根據網上投票結果，設有3名「最受歡迎作品獎」 根據全年投稿量，設有「最積極參與學生」及「最積極參與學校」各1名
結果公佈	2015年9月下旬將公佈入圍名單及進行網上投票，最後得獎結果將於10月發表

Dear Principals and Teachers,

New ‘eWorks’ launched with Summer Award Scheme

‘eWorks’ online platform is one of the most popular student services in Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity), with which students who love to write and draw can share their creativity. To pave a good way for students to become writers, our new ‘eWorks’ platform has launched with a new Summer Award Scheme to provide students with year-round support.

The brand new ‘eWorks’ comes with an administration page with statistical report for teachers to review students’ works and manage the overall student engagement easily. In addition, teachers can comment on students’ works, which strengthens the interaction between teachers and students.

On the other hand, ‘eWorks’ has added new features for students to create their own writer’s profile and issue serial works, which facilitate them to be young writers. There are new social sharing functions  such as rating, comments, article sharing, to encourage students to learn from each other.     

A summer scheme starting from June to August, as the third phase, is added to ‘eWorks Award Scheme’ this year to provide a full-year online creative platform for students to write and draw. Please encourage your students to make good use of summer vacation and submit their works in the holidays to unleash their creativity. Details of the Scheme are as below:

Period	Now – 31 August 2015 (Monday)
Details	Students can submit their works individually. No registration is required. Students should log in with their HKEdCity account to submit their works with unlimited number of submissions. Any genre, theme, and content are welcome. But the works must be in Chinese.
Submission Categories	Primary School Section: Theme-based Writing, Illustration Writing, Book Reviews and Essays Topic of our Theme-based Writing in the third phase is ‘When I come to this planet’. Students may unlock their potentials and create their unique stories.
Awards	‘The Champion’, ‘The First Runner-up’, and ‘The Second Runner-up’ of each category will win book vouchers and certificates. Based on the online voting result, three winners will be awarded as ‘The Most Popular Work Awards’. Counting on number of submissions and participation of whole school year, there are  an ‘Active Participation Award for Student’ and ‘Active Participation Award for School’.
Result Announcement	Online voting of nominated works will start in late September 2015. Results will be announced in October on the website.
