So let's jump into this week's topic - Loopback.
iRig devices including the iRig Stream Mic Pro, iRig Stream Solo, and iRig Stream Pro all have this really useful feature called Loopback but are you using it to create polished, mixed audio for your social content like Tiktok videos and Instagram Reels?
If not, you should be! Loopback allows you to add real-time effects and processing to your voice, all within your mobile device. Here's how.
1. Connect your iRig device with the Loopback feature like the iRig Stream Mic Pro to your mobile device.
2. Open a mobile audio production app like IK's Mixbox or if you're on your phone, Vocalive is a great option.
3. Add your favorite effects in this app from compression and EQ to reverb and delay.
4. Now we're going to hop into your social app of choice. Let's just say Tiktok for this example. But first, make sure you have the Loopback feature enabled on your iRig device of choice.
5. Now open Tiktok or whichever app you're creating content on and record some test content.
6. And voila - when you play the preview of your content, you will hear the effects you added in the audio production app you're using.
It's that simple! The video below shows this example in action.
