親愛的校長及教師：
各位在過去一年有否讀到一些好書，值得推介給學生呢？香港教育城（教城）的年度網上好書選舉「十本好讀」已踏入第12年，今屆特別增設「教師推薦好讀」，讓師生一同參與，現誠邀 貴校教師於3月22日（星期日）前，以教城會員身分登入第12屆「十本好讀」網頁投票，在小學組或中學組的候選書目中投選１本2014年度好書，攜手讓「愛閱讀、樂分享」文化在校園植根。
此外，學生亦可以一人一票方式，從小學組的50本候選書目中選出「十本兒童好讀」；而投票前，同學可於網上試閱候選作品約十分之一的內容。
為感謝學校踴躍參加，積極推動校園閱讀風氣，凡投票人數達150名或以上的學校均可獲頒「積極參與學校」電子證書乙張；投票人數最多的三間小學更可獲頒「最積極參與學校」，而學生投票率最高的學校亦會獲頒「最高投票率學校」。「最積極參與學校」及「最高投票率學校」的得獎學校將獲贈本屆「十本兒童好讀」的得獎書籍，與學生一起分享得獎好書，培養他們養成良好的閱讀習慣。請鼓勵學生踴躍投票，詳情參閱「十本好讀」網頁。
學生投票率是按「學校戶口管理系統」於截止投票翌日（3月23日）所列的學生戶口總數計算，煩請 貴校的資訊科技統籌主任確保屆時已正確更新全校學生戶口。若有任何查詢，歡迎致電2624 1000或電郵至reading@hkedcity.net與教城聯絡。

Dear Principals & Teachers,
Have you read any books that are worth sharing with your students? ‘10 Books Selection', Hong Kong Education City (HKEdCity)'s online book election, has entered its 12th year with a brand new award - 'Teacher Recommended Book'.
From now on until 22 March (Sunday), you may log in to our webpages with your HKEdCity’s account to vote for your favorite book(s) from our primary school book list or secondary school book list of 2014. Vote to share your good reads with students!
Also, students may vote for ‘10 Children Books Selection' by logging in with their HKEdCity's student account and choosing 10 favorite books from 50 at the webpage. Students can read 10 percent content of these books online before making up their mind. Encourage your students to vote now!
In recognition of schools’ commitment in promoting reading, schools with 150 votes or above will receive an eCertificate of ‘Active Participation Award for School’ while the top 3 schools will be awarded ‘The Most Active Participation Award for School’. School with most turnout rate will receive ‘The Highest Participation Rate Award for School’.
Winners of ‘The Most Active Participation Award for School’ and ‘The Highest Participation Rate Award for School’ will be awarded a set of ‘10 Children Books Selection’. Please click here for details.
Please note that ‘The Highest Participation Rate Award for School’ is calculated by the number of students per school in our school account system on 23 March. To ensure accuracy, we highly recommend your school administrator to update students’ accounts at our ‘School Account Management System' correspondingly.
