暑期閱讀約章現已接受報名 Register for Summer Reading Contract 2015!

親愛的校長及圖書館主任：　

暑期閱讀約章現已接受報名

閱讀的好處多不勝數，但學生平日的功課及課外活動繁重，未必有餘暇閱讀課外書。暑假將至，大家不妨鼓勵學生善用假期，閱讀圖書，擴闊視野。

新一屆「暑期閱讀約章」將於7月3日開始，學生只需在計劃舉行期間，閱讀最少10本中、英文課外書籍，並填寫閱讀紀錄，便可獲頒「好讀嘉許狀」電子證書，以示鼓勵。現誠邀　貴校踴躍參加「暑期閱讀約章2015」，於6月30日（星期二）前以教城戶口在網上報名。計劃詳情如下：

對象	全港中、小學生
舉行日期	2015年7月3日（星期五）至9月10日（星期四）
內容	學生簽訂「閱讀約章」，在計劃期間閱讀最少10本中、英文課外書，並填寫閱讀紀錄，包括書籍資料及抒發讀後感的「閱讀魔法棒」
形式	計劃設有【網上版本】及【PDF下載版本】
	【網上版本】 參加學生可於計劃舉行期間以教城學生戶口登入網頁參加；並於9月21日起在網頁內自行列印「好讀嘉許狀」 負責教師可登入計劃管理頁瀏覽及評估學生的閱讀狀況，及各班的統計數據	【PDF下載版本】 負責教師可由6月4日起於圖書館主任園地下載暑期閱讀約章（備有英文版本以供下載） 負責教師需於計劃結束後，收集學生已完成的暑期閱讀約章，檢查他們的閱讀記錄；並於9月21日起登入網頁及下載「好讀嘉許狀」樣本，自行複印予完成計劃的學生 負責教師須在每級中，選出最多2份優秀作品於11月30日前上載至網上「暑期閱讀約章成果報告」

截止報名日期	2015年6月30日（星期二）

Dear Principals and Teacher Librarians,

Register for Summer Reading Contract 2015!

Reading is no doubt a good habit, yet it can be difficult to motivate students to read since they are occupied with homework and extra-curricular activities. As summer vacation is coming, why not encourage students to read more during holiday?

'Summer Reading Contract 2015' will start on 3 July. Students are required to read at least 10 Chinese and/or English books and complete the reading log within the Scheme period. In recognition of students' effort, eCertificate will be awarded to those who complete the Scheme. Please click here to register online with your HKEdCity’s teacher account by 30 June (Tue). Details are as below.

Target	All secondary and primary students
Period	3 July (Friday) – 10 September 2015 (Thursday)
Details	Students are required to sign the Summer Reading Contract, promise to read at least 10 Chinese and/or English books, and complete the reading log.
Format	Web version and PDF version are available.
	【Web version】 Students can log in the webpage with their student accounts within the Scheme period, and download the eCertificate starting from 21 September. Teacher Librarians can review their students’ reading progress together with summary of class participation on the admin page.	【PDF version】 Teacher Librarians should download the Reading Contract worksheets from Teacher Librarians iWorld starting from 4 June. (English version is also available.) Teacher Librarians need to collect and check the completed worksheets after the Scheme ends. Starting from 21 September, they can also reward students who completes the Scheme with an eCertificate downloaded from our webpage. Teacher Librarians are required to select the best 2 pieces of works from each grade, and upload to our online report platform by 30 November.
Registration	Please complete our online registration form with HKEdCity’s teacher account.
Deadline	30 June 2015 (Tuesday)
